you give beings life and movement,
with what enthusiastic admiration I feel you,
although invisible, throb everywhere!
Slave of yours, the whole creation
it shudders and animates with your breath;
and it is your greatness such that the thought
God would proclaim you if God had not.
The impalpable atoms combine
with your magnetic and fertile breath:
you create, you transform, you enlighten;
and in the infinite sky, in the deep
sea, in the astonished land you dominate,
